The holy season of Lent begins tomorrow with Ash Wednesday. Lent is a 40 day season, excluding Sundays, during which the Church repents, fasts, and reflects. This 40 day period coincides with Christ’s time of temptation in the wilderness, where He fasted and prayed while Satan tempted Him. As Christians, we set aside a time each year for similar fasting and praying.
Due to ongoing health concerns, we will be conducting a special socially-distant Ash Wednesday service via Zoom on Wednesday, February 17th. The Zoom meeting is under the same number as our Sunday church services. For more information, including a copy of the Order of Service, please check your emails.
