We had a wonderful time in fun and fellowship at the Ice Cream Social on Saturday, October 25th! Deacon Mary Smith, in conjunction with the Young Adult Ministry and the Youth Ministry, organized a beautiful event open to the church and the community. There were sandwiches, fruit, cupcakes, fresh lemonade, modern and classic sodas, and of course all the ice cream and toppings you could want! Cakes and pies were also available as prizes for everyone’s favorite classic event: the cake walk!
There were lots of games and prizes for all ages, from toys to technology. It was a great joy to see everyone play games, young and old, genuinely enjoying the time we spent together. We even sang some impromptu spirituals, lifting our voices to the Lord joyfully. It was a wonderful evening of pure fun with our fellow saints, and we look forward to hosting another event like this in the future. We hope to see you at the next one!
