This Wednesday we will be holding a Zoom service in honor of the start of the holy season of Lent. Lent is a 40 day season, excluding Sundays, during which the Church repents, fasts, and reflects. This 40 day period coincides with Christ’s time of temptation in the wilderness, where He fasted and prayed while Satan tempted Him. As Christians, we set aside a time each year for similar fasting and praying.
This year’s Ash Wednesday service will once again be held via Zoom, as we continue our socially-distant gatherings in light of recent times. Please join us at 7:30 at the regular church Zoom number. For more information, including a copy of the Order of Service, please check your emails.
